All on 4 Dental Implants

The Process

Consultation with Your Dentist

Before starting the treatment, you will meet with your dentist. This is your chance to ask any questions about All-on-4 dental implants. Your dentist will check if you're a good candidate for the implants by doing some scans. They will also see if any teeth need to be removed first. If you are suited for the treatment, your dentist will explain the treatment process and schedule the implant fitting.

Fitting the Implants

The implant procedure involves placing a minimum of four implants in your jaw at specific angles: the back two at 45 degrees and the front two at 90 degrees. This arrangement ensures better support and healing. A Tavistock we often fit more than 4 to ensure we are providing the strongest results to our patients.

Attaching Abutments and Restorations

After placing the implants, small devices called abutments will be attached. These connect the implants to your new teeth. Once the abutments are secure, your new temporary teeth will be fitted, and your dentist will check their appearance and fit.

Follow-Up Appointments

After the implants are in place, you will need to visit your dentist to monitor the healing process. In about six months, once the implants have fully healed and integrated with your bone, your permanent teeth will be fitted.
